The Old Way Of Frying

Why Home Frying Sucked Until Now

Oil splashing everywhere, guessing the temperature, burning through paper towels. That's not on you. That's the pot.

A Regular Pot or Skillet

A Regular Pot or Skillet

  • Oil pops over the sides onto your stove
  • No way to read the temperature while you cook
  • Nowhere to drain except a pile of paper towels
A Countertop Deep Fryer

A Countertop Deep Fryer

  • Takes up counter space and needs its own outlet
  • Uses a lot of oil every time
  • Can't wash the whole thing (electronics inside)
An Air Fryer

An Air Fryer

  • Good at what it does, but it's not real deep fried crunch
  • Only handles small batches at a time
  • Not built for frying in oil at all
A Wok

A Wok

  • Wide and shallow, so oil splatters across the stove
  • No thermometer, so you're guessing the temperature
  • Nowhere to drain food once it comes out

Enter The Karuya Fry Pot

  • Fry with the guard lid up. Oil stays in the pot.
  • See the temperature the whole time you cook.
  • Drain food right on the lid. No paper towels.
  • Pour out cooled oil through the V spout for reuse.
  • Take the lid off and it's a regular stainless steel pot.

  • CoatingNone. No nonstick layer to worry about.

Splatter Stays Inside

Splatter Guard Lid

Prop the lid up while you fry and oil pops hit the underside of the guard instead of your stove. Your kitchen stays clean.

Always Know The Temp

Built In Thermometer

The dial reads °C so you can see the oil temperature the whole time you cook. When it hits 175°C (350°F), drop the food in and you'll get that golden crunch every time.

Drain Without Paper Towels

Drain Rack On The Lid

Lift the lid upright and it becomes a rack right over the pot. Food rests on top while excess oil drips back down, so your food stays hot and crisp without a single paper towel.

12/10 Would Buy Again

It is the perfect frying tool for anyone who is intimidated by frying, like me. The high sides and lid mean there is very little mess and the pouring spout made dumping the oil super easy. The thermometer is wonderful because you know when its ready to fry and then when its cool enough to empty. It didnt need a lot of oil at all either ... It was also super easy to wash. 12/10 would buy again.

10 Out Of 10

I'm so happy I finally bought this pot. I've had it for months now and have made Filipino lumpia, katsu, and tempura. Compared to frying in a pot or wok, the oil splatters are minimal now. Easier cleanup and I love that it comes with its own thermometer! 10 out of 10

Why Didn't I Know This Existed Sooner

The pot is sturdy and versatile for any dish. I ordered the medium and immediately regret not purchasing the large. ... I truly love the splatter guard and believe it is underrated. This keeps my cooking area clean and grease free. ... Why didn't I know this existed sooner.

Emo C. ★★★★★

Prevents grease from splattering!

One thing about me ima fry something. Which means I have to clean my stove everyday cos grease was constantly splattering and flying all over. But my pot got old. So i got this one and babbbyyy no splattering. Also I love the thermometer... cooked my shrimp 5 minutes perfectly! It looked small at first but its deep and can hold alot.

Sharon D. ★★★★★

This was a steal

I Love the fact that I could put up to 8-10 pieces of chicken or Fish and it still cooked evenly... I was able to still get a great tasting quality of my food after several uses. My thermometer was a plus factor!!!! You can't go wrong

Easy to Use

I bought this for my 15 year old son to use since he loves making tonkatsu and tempura... It cleans well, has a removable thermometer, and the drip lid was genius! ... It's lightweight, easy to assemble, and store.

Victoria L. ★★★★★

This is the best frying pot ever!

I don't normally write reviews but when I come across good products like these, I need to tell everyone that it's an essential to have at home! ... The cleaning process was surprisingly simple and quick, the oil comes off really easily... I really recommend it if you are a beginner with cooking!!!

Works well, love it!

We've had ours for almost a year now, and it's still like new... I've never been good at frying food, and this makes up for the lack of talent.

Good pot for deep frying

I've had this pot for over 3 years now and it's still a winner... The little rack on the inside of the lid is helpful. And I love that I can close the lid while frying... it seriously reduces the amount of oil splatter in my kitchen. Would definitely buy again, but mine is still going strong!

We're Here To Help

How does the frying pot work?

Heat the oil and watch the thermometer. Fry with the guard lid propped up to catch splatter. When food is done, lift the lid upright so excess oil drains back into the pot.

Does the lid stop all oil splatter?

No frying setup stops splatter entirely, but the guard lid catches most of it. Your stove stays much cleaner than frying in a regular pot or skillet.

What can I cook in it?

Fried chicken, wings, fries, shrimp, fish, dumplings, tempura, onion rings, churros, and anything else you'd normally deep fry or shallow fry in oil.

Do the handles get hot?

No, the handles stay cool while you fry.

Does the thermometer read Celsius or Fahrenheit?

It reads °C, and for reference most frying is done around 175°C (350°F).

How much oil does it need?

It uses 4x less oil than a countertop deep fryer because you don't need to fill it to the top. Just enough oil to cover your food.

How many wings fit?

The Medium fits 6 to 8 wings, and the Large handles a full pack of chicken without crowding.

Can I use it as a regular pot?

Yes. Take the frying lid off and it's a 304 stainless steel pot you can cook anything in.

What stovetops does it work on?

All of them: gas, electric, ceramic, and induction.

What is your return policy?

Cook with it for up to 60 days. If it's not right for you, contact us for return instructions and a refund.
